Anyone who&#8217;s marked up a document for a colleague or left comments for a client will find what they need here \u2014 no extra setup required.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Signing Documents<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>There are three ways to sign: draw it, type it and pick a font, or upload a photo of an actual signature, and each one worked without a hitch. Initials, dates, and checkboxes next to the signature field went just as smoothly, which counts for something once a document needs more than one signature line. For example, a multi-page agreement that requires initials on every page.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Converting and Organizing Files<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Conversion is a strong point. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and images all convert to PDF and back without much of a wait, and formatting held up reasonably well on the documents tested, including tables and embedded images. OCR is built in as well, so a scanned page or a photo of a document stops being a flat image and becomes text you can search and select.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond that sits a set of smaller tools: merge a few PDFs into one, split one apart, rotate a page, crop it, delete what you don&#8217;t need, or repair a file that&#8217;s stopped opening properly somewhere else.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Security and Privacy<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Password protection, unlocking a PDF you already have the password for, redaction, watermarking. The security side is covered. Redaction deserves a specific mention.
